Falcon Ave Reserve

Mile End’s got a few decent little parks, but this one punches above its weight for families with toddlers. The sand pit is genuinely big — not the token patch you get at some reserves — and the animal and bird sculptures dotted around give kids something to actually interact with beyond just digging. Grab one of the shaded tables, fire up the BBQ, and you’ve got yourself a proper afternoon sorted. The open grass area is a nice bonus when they’re done with the sand and need to burn off some energy.
