Playground – Mile End

Mile End Common gets a solid tick from me — the shade trees actually do their job here, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many parks get that wrong. Kids have decent equipment to keep them busy while you set up at the BBQ area, and the restrooms are genuinely clean, not an afterthought. Street parking is easy enough, and being right in the suburb means you’re not driving anywhere special to get here — just a reliable local spot that does what it needs to do.
