Got a soft spot for this one — it’s the kind of local reserve that actually got some love from council and shows it. The playground is simple but solid for the under-10 crowd, with a climbing structure and swings that keep kids busy while you grab a bench in the shade. Mature trees do a decent job keeping things cool, and the walking path around the open grass is a nice loop if you’re after a relaxed wander. Birdlife is genuinely good here since the upgrades, so bring the kids who are into that sort of thing. Quiet, unhurried, and exactly what a neighbourhood park should be.
