West Beach Playground

Right on the edge of West Beach, this one’s hard to beat when you’ve got kids in tow after a morning at the shore. The zipline (or flying fox, depending on who you ask) is the big drawcard — expect a queue on weekends. There’s also a solid climbing structure, merry-go-round, and musical equipment that younger ones tend to gravitate toward. Pack lunch because the picnic tables with ocean views make it worth sticking around, and parking plus restrooms mean you’re not rushing off anywhere.
