Locals know Brierly as one of those no-frills spots that just works. There’s a solid stretch of open grass where kids can actually run without hitting a fence every five seconds, which is rarer than you’d think around Warrnambool. Throw down a rug near the picnic tables and you’ve got yourself a decent afternoon sorted. It’s a proper community reserve — nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point.
