Roulston Park Playground

Those big old trees are the real drawcard here — proper shade, not the token kind you get at newer playgrounds where you’re still squinting by 11am. It’s one of those parks that feels genuinely settled, like it’s been part of Pukekohe for a long time, and the green space is generous enough that you’re not sitting on top of other families at the picnic table. Good for a range of ages too, toddlers through to older kids, so it works if you’ve got a mixed crew. Parking and toilets on site, which honestly makes the difference between a quick stop and actually staying a while.
