Samuel Miller Reserve

If you’re a Pukekohe local and haven’t made it to Samuel Miller Reserve yet, you’re missing out. The zipline alone is worth the trip — kids queue up for it repeatedly — but there’s also a solid climbing structure, tunnels, and enough slides to keep the whole afternoon busy. The bush backdrop gives it a bit of a wild feel without being too far from the car park, BBQs, and picnic tables. Bring bikes or scooters too, because the bike track gets good use and the open grass field gives littlies room to just run. Genuinely one of the better setups in the area for a full family day out, covering kids from toddler age right through to the tweens who think they’re too cool for playgrounds (they’re not).
