Orangapani Reserve – playground

Locals know this one’s worth the trip — the pump track alone keeps the older kids busy for ages, and the basketball half-court means there’s something for whoever doesn’t feel like climbing. The merry-go-round is a genuine hit with the younger ones, and the climbing structure has enough going on to hold attention past the first five minutes. It covers a solid age range, from toddlers through to early teens, which makes it a decent pick for families with kids at different stages. One of the better-stocked reserves in the Tauranga area if active play is what you’re after.
