Ropers Playground

The bike track here is genuinely one of the better ones for kids in the area — scooters, balance bikes, BMX, it all works well on it. Swings, open grass, shaded picnic tables and a BBQ setup make it easy to turn a quick visit into a proper afternoon out. It’s close enough to the beach that you can do both in one trip, which locals definitely take advantage of on weekends. Gear up for a decent walk if you need a toilet though, because that’s the one thing this spot is missing.
