Rimu Place Playground

Rimu Place is one of those low-key local spots that doesn’t try too hard — just a solid all-wood adventure playground that kids actually want to climb on. The wooden equipment gives it a more natural feel than the usual plastic stuff you see everywhere, and the 2–10 age range is well catered for. Throw a picnic blanket down or grab one of the tables and you’ve got a decent afternoon sorted. It’s nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point.
