Burnside Park Playground

Burnside Park is one of those solid, no-frills playgrounds that locals keep coming back to — not because it’s flashy, but because it just works. The climbing structure, slides, swings, and seesaw keep kids in the 3–10 range busy long enough for parents to actually relax. It’s mostly fenced, which makes a real difference when you’ve got younger ones who like to bolt. The BBQ area and picnic tables make it an easy choice for a casual family lunch, and there’s shaded seating if you’re not keen on cooking. Fair warning though — the equipment is showing its age a bit, so don’t expect anything cutting edge.
