The Groynes Playground – South

If you know The Groynes, you know it’s one of those spots that just works for a family afternoon out. The southern playground keeps it pretty simple — a seesaw and a water feature — but honestly, kids don’t need much more when there’s a big open grass field to tear around on. The water feature is the real drawcard, especially on a warm Canterbury day. Parking is easy enough, which makes the whole thing a lot less stressful than some of the more popular spots closer to the city.
