The concrete here is genuinely smooth — no cracked slabs or dodgy joints to send you flying — and whoever designed this place actually thought about the flow between features. You’ve got a solid mix of ledges and rails for street-style skating, plus two bowls that cater to complete beginners right through to skaters who know what they’re doing. The little beginner bowl is a proper starting point for kids just finding their feet, nothing too intimidating. Parking’s easy, it’s open to all ages, and it sees a decent local crowd from the Flaxmere community. Worth the trip if you’re passing through Hastings and want a skate.
