If you’re heading out to Ross Creek for the waterfall walk, Braeview Reserve is a solid stop to factor into the trip. The setting does a lot of the heavy lifting here — you’re right on the edge of the forest, and it genuinely feels removed from the rest of the city. The walking path makes it accessible for prams and wheelchairs, which isn’t a given with a lot of Dunedin’s hillier spots. A good one to know about if you want nature without having to trek too far to get it.
