The pirate theme is what makes this one stick in kids’ memories — there’s something about climbing around on a setup that actually has a bit of story to it. Locals with young ones tend to come back here regularly, which says a lot given how many parks Dunedin has to choose from. It’s a solid family outing spot, nothing overly fancy, but the kind of place where kids genuinely lose track of time.
