The flying fox alone makes this worth the stop — kids go absolutely feral for it, in the best way. There’s a soccer field if you’ve got a group that needs to burn some energy, and the tennis courts mean adults aren’t just standing around watching. What catches most people off guard is the view; Kingston sits right at the southern end of Lake Wakatipu, so the backdrop is genuinely hard to beat. Toilets and parking on-site, which saves the usual scrambling.
