The playground is straightforward — slides, swings, a water feature — but it’s clean and well-maintained, which honestly matters more than fancy equipment. Pack a cooler, because the free BBQ area and picnic tables make it genuinely easy to spend a few hours here without spending a cent. Shade trees, restrooms that are actually kept tidy, parking right there — someone’s clearly looking after this place. The lake views from the grass field are the kind of thing that makes you wonder why you don’t come down this way more often.
