Henderson Park Playground

Riverton locals know this one’s worth the stop — Henderson Park sits in one of Southland’s more scenic corners, and the views alone make the trip out here worthwhile. The playground itself is set up well for kids of different abilities, which isn’t always a given in smaller towns. It’s a solid family outing spot, especially if you want to mix some fresh air and scenery with the kids burning off energy.
