Matahui Street Reserve

Locals know this little reserve on Matahui Street is a decent enough spot for a quick trip out with the kids in Waikanae. It’s not flashy, but that’s kind of the point — sometimes you just need somewhere close by to burn off some energy without making a whole event of it. Worth keeping in mind if you’re in the neighbourhood and need a low-key afternoon option.
