Shotover Grove Reserve

The fort setup here is genuinely good — proper rock wall, solid climbing structure, and a slide that kids actually want to go down more than once. Swings cover the bases well with baby and nest options, so you’re not stuck hovering over toddlers the whole visit. The bike and scooter track is a nice touch, just enough bumps to keep older kids busy while the little ones do their thing on the equipment. It’s had a solid upgrade recently and it shows — one of the better neighbourhood reserves in Waikanae for the 3 and up crowd.
