Pack a cooler, because the BBQ area and picnic tables get used properly here — this isn’t just somewhere people pass through. The walking path down toward the beach is right there when everyone’s had their fill of the playground, and parents can keep an eye on things easily from the benches without having to hover. A solid half-day out for families with kids up to about ten.
