Great Chart Playing Fields

Decent local spot if you’re in the Great Chart area of Ashford — the fenced play area is a solid plus when you’ve got little ones, and the climbing structure and slides keep kids occupied long enough for you to actually sit down at one of the picnic tables. The outdoor gym is a nice touch for adults who don’t want to just stand around watching. Fields are genuinely spacious, good for a kickabout or just letting kids run themselves tired, and the walking trails nearby make it worth combining into a longer outing. Fair warning though — dog mess on the grass can be a real issue, and there’s basically zero shade, so pack sunscreen in summer. Parking is easy enough and visibility across the site is good, which matters more than people admit.
