Good spot for the 5–10 crowd, honestly. The slide tower gets a decent amount of use and the climbing structure keeps kids busy long enough for you to actually sit down on one of the benches and drink a coffee while it’s still hot. The open grass field is big enough that you’re not tripping over other families, and the picnic tables are handy if you’ve brought lunch. What makes it worth the trip though is the woodland right on the doorstep — kids inevitably want to go poking around in there after they’ve done the play area, and the walking path makes it easy to extend the afternoon if the weather’s holding. Views aren’t bad either.
