Gloucester Park Play Area

Gloucester Park is one of those spots in Basildon that locals actually rate — and for good reason. The play area covers the basics well with slides and swings, and there’s plenty of open grass nearby if the kids need to burn off more energy. Crowds stay pretty manageable most days, which makes it genuinely enjoyable rather than stressful. The walking path is a nice touch too, honestly one of the better ones in the area for an easy stroll — decent enough that people bring dates here, which tells you something. Parking’s available, so no faffing around looking for a spot before you’ve even started.
