The enclosed play area is best suited for the really little ones — toddlers and kids around 2-3 will get the most out of it, and the fencing means you’re not constantly chasing them across the grass. Beyond the play area you’ve got a basketball court, a decent walking path, and enough open green space to kick a ball around or just sit on one of the benches and decompress. It’s not flashy, but Basildon’s got plenty of parks that try too hard — this one just works.
