Winterborne Stickland Playground

Tucked away in the village just outside Blandford Forum, this little playground punches above its weight for somewhere so small and rural. The slides are solid and the equipment is well-maintained — nothing flashy, but kids genuinely enjoy it. One thing that sets it apart is how well it’s screened from the road, so you’re not spending the whole visit anxious about traffic. Parking is easy enough, and while the kids play you can watch cows grazing in the fields nearby, which honestly adds a lot to the whole experience. A proper village park done right.
