Moses Gate Country Park Playground

If you’re local to Bolton and haven’t taken the kids here yet, you’re missing out. The playground has slides and a water feature that keeps little ones busy while you actually get to sit down for five minutes — there are plenty of benches and picnic tables scattered around. The real draw is the wider park though: proper woodland trails, a lake that’s great for a wander, and open grass fields that give everyone room to breathe. Parking’s free and there are toilets on site, which makes the whole thing genuinely stress-free for a family day out. One of those places that works whatever the season, honestly.
