Broadfield Play Area Park

Tucked away from the main roads, this one’s a proper local gem that a lot of people outside the area don’t even know about. It stays surprisingly clean — not always a given with public spaces in Boston — and whoever maintains it is clearly doing something right. The exercise equipment gives kids (and honestly, adults) something to actually do rather than just sitting on a bench watching. It’s the kind of spot where you can actually hear yourself think, which makes a big difference if you’re trying to get the little ones out for some fresh air without the chaos of busier parks.
