Freiston Play Park

Tucked into one of Boston’s quieter neighbourhoods, this little park punches above its weight for what it offers. The new exercise equipment is a proper bonus — not just a token pull-up bar, but enough to actually break a sweat if you’re that way inclined. Dogs are more than welcome here, and the regulars definitely take advantage of that. Shade trees and benches make it easy to linger, and the place is kept genuinely tidy, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the area. If you want somewhere calm to walk the dog, do a bit of a workout, or just sit without being hassled, this is a solid option.
