The pirate ship is the main draw here, and honestly it’s a good one — kids go absolutely feral for it in the best way. The whole area is properly enclosed, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a toddler who thinks running into traffic is hilarious. There’s decent shade from the trees when it’s actually sunny, and the seating means you’re not just standing around awkwardly. Older kids get enough to keep them busy too, between the slides, tunnels, and the open field next to it. One of the cleaner parks in the area, which — if you’ve been to a few around Boston — you’ll know isn’t something to take for granted.
