If you’re anywhere near Buckfastleigh with a toddler or young child in tow, this place is genuinely worth the trip. The little ones can bottle-feed baby goats, which sounds small but honestly has kids absolutely beside themselves with excitement. There’s a play train that younger children go completely mad for, and the staff are the kind of people who clearly actually enjoy being there — it shows. Parking is easy, which matters more than people admit when you’ve got a 3-year-old who fell asleep in the car. Best suited to the 2–7 crowd, but it’s one of those rare farm days out where the adults don’t end up just standing around waiting.
