Honestly, this one’s more of a countryside escape than a traditional playground — but if you’re local to Carlisle, you probably already know about it. It’s a quiet spot where the main attraction is genuinely just the rural surroundings, which sounds underwhelming until you’re actually out there. Good for a proper wander with the kids when you need to get out of the house without dealing with crowds. Border collie country through and through.
