If you’re after a decent afternoon out near the river, this little park ticks most boxes. The fenced play area means you’re not constantly chasing toddlers toward the water, which locals will tell you is worth its weight in gold. Chuck a blanket down at one of the picnic tables and you’ve got a proper easy lunch spot while the kids do their thing. The walking path alongside the water is a nice touch too — nothing strenuous, just a good leg-stretch with a decent view.
