The football pitches get proper use, and there’s enough open grass that kids can just run wild without you worrying. Pack a picnic — the tables are there and on a decent day it’s genuinely a nice way to spend an afternoon. The walking path loops things together nicely if you fancy a stroll while the kids do their thing. Parking on site makes the whole trip a lot less of a hassle.
