Folkestone sand beach

Sand, sea, and the kind of straightforward seaside fun that doesn’t need a lot of bells and whistles. Folkestone’s beach is the sort of place locals actually use rather than just point tourists toward — kids dig in the sand, parents actually relax, and nobody’s pretending it’s the Med. The water’s cold, obviously, this is England, but that never seems to stop anyone. If you’re in the area and the tide’s out, it’s worth the trip down.
