Holloway Hill Recreation Ground

Holloway Hill is one of those spots that locals quietly love and rarely talk about too loudly. The wooden play structures are genuinely well put together — slides, swings, a decent climbing frame — and everything feels solid and looked after rather than the usual neglected council kit. It sits right next to the cricket green, which gives the whole place a proper village feel, and the views from up there are worth the walk alone. Good for kids from toddler age right through, and the open grass field means there’s room to actually run around once they’re done with the equipment.
