Austwick Play Park

Honestly, this little park punches above its weight for what’s here. The sandbox keeps younger kids busy for ages, and with a proper football pitch plus loads of open grass, older ones aren’t left standing around with nothing to do. It’s kept in genuinely good nick — not that tatty, forgotten kind of park you stumble across in some towns. The views out across the Lancaster countryside are the real bonus, especially on a clear day when you’ve got nowhere to be in a hurry.
