Fairfield Playground

They’ve done a proper job with the refurb here — it’s come a long way and the locals have really taken to it. The setting is what sets it apart though, with woodland trails on your doorstep and a pond nearby that makes the whole place feel a bit more like a proper day out than just a quick spin on the swings. Chuck in the walking path looping around and you’ve got something that works for the whole family, not just the kids. It’s the kind of community space Lancaster does well when it puts its mind to it.
