Oakwood Park Play Area

Locals use this one more as a proper outdoor hangout than just a playground — the bike track gets a decent amount of action, and the open grass field is big enough that kids actually have room to run around without being on top of each other. There’s a swing set for the little ones, and the shade trees make it bearable on the rare hot day. It backs up close to woodland, so it feels less urban than it actually is, which is a nice bonus. Dog walkers are basically a permanent fixture here, so expect to navigate a few leads. Toilets on site too, which always matters more than people admit.
