Whisby Garden Centre

If you’re local to Lincoln and haven’t taken the kids to Whisby on a weekend yet, you’re missing a solid option. There’s a water feature that keeps younger ones entertained while you actually get a breather, which is half the reason parents keep coming back. The garden centre itself is worth a wander, and the café does proper food with decent cakes — not just sad shrink-wrapped slices. Views over the lakes are genuinely lovely, and the whole place feels well-kept without being precious about it.
