Lysander Island

Surrounded by water on all sides, this little island playground at Tattershall Lakes has a genuinely fun setup for kids — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox to keep the younger ones busy for ages. The lake views give it a real sense of being somewhere special, and the open grass field means older kids aren’t just stuck queuing for equipment. Bring a packed lunch because the picnic tables get used, and honestly it’s worth sitting there a while. Good for the 3–12 crowd, though the sandbox tends to be a hit with the littler ones especially.
