Windmill Park

The pump track here is genuinely one of the better ones in the area — smooth new asphalt, decent berms, and enough flow to keep older kids busy for a good while. The playground got a proper renovation too, so you’re not dealing with rusty old equipment anymore; there’s a long slide, climbing frames, and a soft floor underneath which parents will appreciate. Younger ones aged 2 and up can get stuck in while bigger kids take on the bike track or the football pitch next door. Benches are well-positioned so you can actually keep an eye on everything without constantly moving around. Locals are a friendly bunch, and it has that easy, unpretentious feel of a park that people genuinely use rather than just visit.
