The Play Park

Locals know this one’s kept in decent shape — the equipment’s clean, nothing’s broken, and someone clearly actually maintains it. There’s a basketball court and a proper soccer field, so older kids and the football-obsessed crowd have somewhere to actually burn energy rather than just hanging around the swings. Speaking of which, the play area splits nicely by age, so younger ones aren’t getting knocked over by the big kids. Dog walkers use it regularly too, which tells you something about how the space feels — open, relaxed, worth the trip.
