The Play Park

Locals use this one regularly, and it’s easy to see why — the basketball court and soccer field mean older kids and teens actually have something worth showing up for. The play area itself is kept in decent shape, which isn’t always a given around here. Swings and slides cover the younger ones, and the layout does a decent job of keeping different age groups from getting in each other’s way. Dog walkers tend to cut through too, so if you’re bringing the family pet along, nobody’s going to bat an eyelid. A solid all-rounder for Newton Abbot, honestly.
