Cabin lane woodlands Play Area

Tucked just off the trail network on the edge of Oswestry, this little woodland spot is a decent shout if you’ve got young kids and a dog in tow. The play area is pretty simple — a helter-skelter slide and a water feature — but little ones don’t seem to mind, especially with the wildlife ponds nearby to peer into. The walking paths wind through nicely and the open grass gives dogs room to stretch their legs. Fair warning though, it can get a bit rough around the edges depending on when you visit — it’s one of those places that needs a bit more attention than it gets. Still, on a dry morning with a coffee in hand, you could do a lot worse.
