Frenchwood Park Playground

Frenchwood Park gets decent use from local families, and the playground holds up well under the pressure — equipment’s kept in good nick, which isn’t something you can say about every spot in Preston. Kids aged 5 to 14 will find enough to keep them busy, with a solid climbing structure that tends to draw a crowd, plus swings, a seesaw, and slides for good measure. The shade trees are a proper bonus on warm days, and there are benches if you’re settling in for a while. Toss in an open grass field and you’ve got room for a kickaround once they’ve burned through the main equipment.
