Kings Meadow Playground

Honestly, the playground has seen better days — the equipment is looking pretty tired and a few things have been out of action long enough that locals have started wondering if anyone’s actually coming to fix them. That said, it’s a decent enough spot for the really little ones, with slides, swings, and a zipline to keep the under-5s entertained while they last. The walking path along the canal is genuinely the highlight here, and if you’ve got a toddler who’s obsessed with locks and barges, they’ll be perfectly happy pottering along the water’s edge. Worth a visit for the setting more than the play equipment, if we’re being straight about it.
