Honestly one of the better spots in Stamford for little ones — the equipment is well looked after and there’s actually enough variety to keep kids busy for a decent stretch. Toddlers from about 18 months can get stuck into the swings and seesaw while older kids head straight for the climbing structure or the merry go round. Benches are positioned so you can actually keep an eye on things without having to hover, which makes a difference. The basketball court is right there if older siblings need something to do, and the walking path around the area means you can stretch your legs with a good view over the town. It’s urban, but it doesn’t feel cramped — and it’s kept in genuinely good nick compared to a lot of other local parks.
