St Margaret’s Play Area

Backing onto open fields with forest trails nearby, this one’s a proper local gem that doesn’t get enough credit. The slides and swings have been kept in decent shape lately — good to see the repairs finally happened — and the open grass field gives older kids and teenagers actual room to kick a ball around without being on top of each other. It’s quiet enough that you can actually relax while the kids do their thing, which isn’t something you can say about every park in Stockton. Best suited for ages 4 and up, and honestly a solid choice if you want somewhere that feels like a proper neighbourhood spot rather than a corporate play zone.
