Sutton Park is already one of the best green spaces in the Midlands, and the Town Gate Play Area makes it a proper family day out rather than just a walk. You’ve got picnic tables right there, toilets nearby, and parking that’s actually usable — which, honestly, counts for a lot. The lake and forest trails are close enough that you can stretch the visit out well beyond the playground itself.
